Portuguese woman among more than 400 missing in Nepal floods

A Portuguese citizen is among the more than 400 missing in Nepal, most of them foreign tourists, after a flash flood hit the region during the night. Nepali authorities confirmed at least 14 dead and indicated that the situation remains critical, with rescue operations underway to find survivors among the rubble and murky waters.

Girl seriously injured after fall from second floor

A female child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. The girl suffered serious fractures to the pelvic girdle and pelvis, having been transported to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha to receive medical treatment. Spanish police officer on vacation victim of knife robbery

A Spanish police officer who was on vacation was the victim of a stabbing robbery in [data unknown]. Two men approached the victim near a commercial area, where they stole his police badge, money and a watch. The agent was injured during the incident and was taken to a hospital to receive medical care.
