A Portuguese citizen is missing in Nepal after flash floods hit the north of the country on Wednesday, near the border with Tibet. The Portuguese woman was part of a group that was at a border post on the Nepalese side, and is among the hundreds of people reported missing following the natural disaster.

Spanish police officer on vacation victim of knife robbery
