Scientists have created a high-precision digital twin of Ötzi the Iceman's mummy using advanced photogrammetry and artificial intelligence algorithms. The project, which included the participation of Brazilian designer Cícero Moraes, a 3D modeling specialist, overcame optical challenges caused by ice and moisture present on the more than five-century-old mummy's skin. The work is pioneering in integrating detailed surface textures with internal computed tomography data, offering a complete multimodal view of the body and its archaeological artifacts.
