International payments bring Brazil and Asia closer together

A Velaro Network, the cross-border payments company with roots in Taiwan, is expanding its strategy in Brazil to facilitate B2B transactions between the country and Asia. The company develops international payment infrastructure that goes beyond simple money transfers, including supplier payments, platform settlements, merchant disbursements and treasury operations. The solution integrates stablecoins as a settlement component within a broader payment flow, offering connectivity, liquidity, foreign exchange, local financial infrastructure and regulatory compliance in the Brazil-Asia corridor.
Portugal is going to buy 75 armored vehicles from Spain for the marines, in an investment of 120 million euros fully funded by the European Union. The first vehicles, manufactured in Spain, should start arriving in the country next year.
