City Hall declares war on self-propelled vehicles that reach maximum speed above that permitted by law

The city of Rio de Janeiro announced measures to inspect self-propelled vehicles, such as electric scooters and bicycles, that exceed the maximum permitted speed of 32km/h. Among the actions is the use of a dynamometer to accurately measure the speed of the vehicles and the creation of a Registry of Electrified Micro-Equipment (Cadmicro). Inspection will begin at equipment distributors and, in a second phase, will be carried out on city streets, especially on bike paths and bike lanes. Non-compliant vehicles will be subject to fines and seizure.

Luís Neves drives seized car to Xuxas. Transfer by PJ "is completely illegal"
