Nepal. Death toll from flooding rises to 750

The death toll from flooding that hit the border between Tibet and Nepal has risen to at least 750 people, according to a new Nepalese toll released today. The flooding occurred on Wednesday and affects populations on both sides of the border.

The disaster also leaves 3,044 people missing, significantly raising the number of those affected by the catastrophe. Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the affected regions.
