Trofense are out of the Portuguese Cup. The Trofense side lost 5-1 away to Varzim and were eliminated in the first round of the competition. The team coached by Cristiano Brito started the match better and took the lead. At 18 minutes, a cross from Luís Miguel was deflected into the net, giving the visitors the lead. However, Varzim managed to recover and ended up thrashing them 5-1, eliminating Trofense from the competition.
