Flavio Bolsonaro, the PL presidential candidate, spent more than a week preparing for the interview he gave this Friday on TV Globo. In the final stretch of preparation, the training sessions began replicating the format of a Q&A session, with a man and a woman assigned to simulate the roles of Cesar Tralli and Renata Vasconcellos.
The woman who participated in the series of prior question-and-answer sessions was the candidate's own wife, Fernanda Bolsonaro. In addition to playing the interviewer role during the simulations, she also guided her husband on his on-camera posture, insisting he look directly at whoever was asking the questions.
On the day of the interview, Flavio spent the entire day dedicated to preparation for the Q&A, according to sources. Since the candidate has not been participating in debates, the campaign treated the interview as an opportunity to answer questions in front of a large audience of voters and demonstrate willingness to face questions about his trajectory.
