Commerce, services and tourism sectors launch campaign to postpone voting on PEC ending 6x1 schedule

The National Trade Confederation of Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) and the 34 federations that are part of the system launched, this weekend, a national campaign asking the Senate to postpone the voting on the Proposed Constitutional Amendment (PEC) that eliminates the 6x1 schedule and changes working hours in the country.

The campaign has the slogan "The bill is already too high. Changing labor rules on the eve of the election? Not now." The mobilization seeks to convince senators that a constitutional change of this magnitude should not be deliberated during the electoral period and in a scenario of economic fragility.

According to CNC, the tertiary sector, which brings together commerce, services and tourism, faces an environment marked by high interest rates, restricted credit, high household debt and record delinquency.
