After 14 years of relationship, the marriage of singer Neném, who is part of the country music duo Pepê, with digital influencer Thais Baptista has come to an end. The announcement about the separation was made to fans through a joint post on the couple's Instagram profile.
In the text published on the social media platform, Neném and Thais stated that the decision was made together, the result of many conversations between them. Minutes after the announcement was posted, Thais appeared in a sequence of videos crying on her own profile.
In the first video, Thais was lying in bed covering her face with a pillow. In the caption, she asked followers for respect and understanding. "Now is not the time for questions or assumptions. I just wanted once in my life to be respected, understood. Just have some empathy," she wrote.
