Gastronomy and cultures of the world meet again in Amadora for three days

The festival É Um Encontro returns to Parque Central in Amadora for an edition that runs from September 11 to 13. The event promises three days dedicated to gastronomy and the cultures of the world, with various activities for visitors.

During the festival, various activities will be held, including showcookings, music, dance, workshops and talks. The event proposes to bring different cultures together through gastronomy and the arts.

Among the names confirmed for the festival are Pedro Pena Bastos, Kiko, Tia Cátia, Chakall and Vítor Sobral. These professionals and public figures bring their culinary and cultural experiences to the event.

Marvão Castle secured passage to the national semifinal of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal after winning the regional final dedicated to Alentejo and Ribatejo, held at Jardim das Portas do Sol in Santarém.
