Carlo Ancelotti is in Europe watching games this weekend to observe Brazilian players before the next national team call-up. The Italian coach was there on Friday for the 2-2 draw between Lille and PSG, in the French Championship, at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy. On that occasion, he was accompanied by assistant Paul Clement, and the match marked Davide Ancelotti's official debut in charge of Lille at home.

Ancelotti will also watch Tottenham x Newcastle on Saturday, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Chelsea x Brighton on Sunday, in the Premier League. In Brazil, other members of the Brazilian technical commission will be at the stadiums on Sunday to watch Athletico-PR x Fluminense, Flamengo x Botafogo and Corinthians x Santos.

The observation work on both continents is part of the preparation for the September FIFA Date friendlies. Ancelotti remains in Europe, where he met with members of the technical commission who work on the European continent. The Brazilian national team is looking to evaluate players who can be called up for the team's next fixtures.
