Club Deportivo Alcora celebrated its 60th anniversary with the conquest of the I Caixa Rural Festes de L'Alcora Trophy 2026. The team achieved the championship title by overcoming CD Onda in an exciting penalty shootout, in a match marked by intensity and local rivalry.
The match was played at El Saltador stadium and constituted an azulejero derby, reinforcing the importance of the competition for both teams in the region. This trophy served as one of the major attractions of the pre-season for the clubs involved.
The victory on penalties crowned a week of celebrations for the club's sexagenary, thus joining sporting success to the festivities commemorating six decades of existence of CD Alcora.
