The permanent restoration of communications in the Leiria region may still take some time to be completed. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing estimates that around a thousand fixed telecommunications network accesses still need to be restored.

Telecommunications companies have been working on recovering the affected infrastructure, but progress is gradual. Conditions on the ground have made it difficult to maintain the pace of interventions.

The Ministry is monitoring the situation in coordination with the sector's operators. The goal is to ensure that all affected customers see their service restored as quickly as possible.

Authorities continue to monitor the progress of the communications network recovery work in the Leiria region.
