Sara Correia brought fado to the Festival do Crato on Friday night, August 28, taking to the stage on the third night of the event. The Portuguese fadista was one of the main attractions of the night at the event taking place in the village of Crato.

Sara Correia's concert was part of a lineup that also featured performances by Calema, Delfins, and KURA, forming a diverse lineup that brought together different musical styles.

The show took place as part of the 40th Handicraft and Gastronomy Fair, which was being held in this municipality in the district of Portalegre.

Marvão Castle secures passage to national semifinal of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal

Marvão Castle secured passage to the national semifinal of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal after winning the regional final dedicated to Alentejo and Ribatejo, held at Jardim das Portas do Sol in Santarém. Classified as a National Monument since 1922, the castle stands out for the preservation of its authenticity and its unique relationship with the surrounding landscape. With history dating back to the 9th century, when it was founded by Ibn Maruán, and integrated into the Kingdom of Portugal by D. Afonso Henriques between 1160 and 1162, the monument represents one of the most emblematic testimonies of Portuguese historical heritage. The national semifinal will take place next Saturday, September 5th, in Sintra.
