The Deftones, a historic alternative rock band, will perform in Portugal this Sunday at Meo Kalorama, in Lisbon. This is the second time the band visits the country in less than a year, after providing a memorable experience at Primavera Sound Porto festival, where they attracted a massive crowd.

The American band is led by Chino Moreno (vocalist) and Stephen Carpenter (guitarist), remaining active since the 90s. The Deftones are known for their unique mix of alternative rock, metal and experimental elements.

The concert at Meo Kalorama is described as a generational gathering, bringing together fans of different ages. Marvão Castle secured passage to the national semifinal of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal after winning the regional final dedicated to Alentejo and Ribatejo, held at Jardim das Portas do Sol in Santarém. Classified as a National Monument since 1922, the castle stands out for the preservation of its authenticity and its unique relationship with the surrounding landscape.
