Six cyclists from Portalegre successfully completed this Friday the full crossing of the Pyrenees, a solidarity challenge that lasted seven stages. The group is part of the "Pedalar pela Vida" initiative, dedicated to the fight against cancer.
The challenge began on August 22, the date on which the six cyclists left Portugal heading to France to complete this epic crossing. Over several days, they covered the stages that make up the complete crossing of the Pyrenees.
The Portalegre team managed to complete all seven scheduled stages, overcoming the difficulties inherent to a highly physically demanding route. This conclusion represents the culmination of a collective effort for a solidarity cause.
The "Pedalar pela Vida" initiative thus gained greater visibility through this action by the cyclists from Portalegre, who associated their passion for cycling with a social commitment to combating cancer.
