The Lagum band, created in 2016 in Belo Horizonte, celebrates a decade of career with the tour "Lagum em Todo Lugar" ("Lagum in Every Where"), which is scheduled to premiere on October 17 in the capital of Minas Gerais. The new show promises homage to all phases since the first album "Be What I Want," released in the founding year, and is expected to pass through ten Brazilian cities, including Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Ribeirão Preto, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis and Curitiba, in addition to the capital of Minas Gerais.
The international partnership is another ongoing project. The American pop and rock band Maroon 5 announced Lagum as the opening act for their three shows before Rock in Rio. The Brazilian quartet will accompany the American band's "Love is Like" tour in São José do Rio Preto (September 6), São Paulo (September 8) and Salvador (September 10), before the performance at Rock in Rio on September 12.
The reference to the verse "I make plans for August 2026," present in the song "2026," emerged as a rhyme that reflected the anxiety to live life through music. At the time of creation, in 2016, the deadline was nothing more than a distant projection, but now, with a decade of consolidated career, the band performs shows throughout Brazil and international projects.
