A first alert dispatch was issued for a wildfire in Perosinho, a locality belonging to the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, in the Porto district.
The alert was triggered to address a fire originating from vegetation, specifically scrubland, that threatens the area.
To combat the fire, five operatives and one ground asset were mobilised, with no air assets required at the time of the dispatch.
The first alert status indicates that authorities are monitoring the situation and that resources have been activated for initial response to the incident.
