Leonardo's son suffers car accident in Barretos

Matheus Vargas, son of sertanejo singer Leonardo, suffered a car accident last Friday (28) in Barretos, in the interior of São Paulo. The 28-year-old singer used social media to inform fans about the incident and reassure them about his health condition.

The accident happened on the way out of Barretos, while Matheus was heading toward Ribeirão Preto (SP). He explained that he had a commitment with the TV Record team in Ribeirão Preto for filming a television program.

According to the singer's account, a vehicle pulled in front of him from the right lane. He stated that he couldn't brake in time and ended up hitting the other car. Despite the scare, Matheus assured that he is fine and that all members of his team also came out fine.

On social media, he posted a message to calm fans: "My team people... everything is alright." The singer thanked the expressions of affection received after the accident.
