The boy Guilherme de Costa Lima, 13 years old, was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and urgently needs blood donations to undergo surgery at the University Hospital of State Employees. The family makes a public appeal for at least 10 donors of any blood type to come and donate.
Guilherme is hospitalized undergoing treatment for the recently discovered disease. His mother, Gabrielly Segóvia, described her son as a loving boy who loves to draw and is her best friend. She asked that people who can donate come to the blood bank, emphasizing that a few minutes of the donor's time can represent a new chance of life for the boy.
The donations should be made at the HUSE-Unirio blood bank, located at Rua Sacadura Cabral, 178, in the Saúde neighborhood, in Rio de Janeiro, on the corner with Souza e Silva Street.
