Bruno Duarte is officially registered by Vasco and can make his debut in the match against Cruzeiro this Saturday, for the 25th round of the Brazilian Championship. The striker was announced by the club this Thursday and had his documentation published in the CBF's Daily Informative Bulletin (BID) this Friday, becoming cleared to be called up for the game at São Januário, at 9:20 PM.
The 30-year-old player signed a contract until December 2028 and will wear jersey number 19. Before returning to Brazilian football, Bruno Duarte was at Red Star Belgrade, from Serbia, since 2024, where he scored 42 goals and gave 14 assists in 98 matches, in addition to winning two Serbian Championships and two Serbian Cups.
The striker himself stated he is ready to help Vasco, saying he works to score goals and provide assists, and that as a forward he lives for that in any club he goes to.
