Flamengo presented a complaint against the relationship between Leila Pereira, president of Palmeiras, and Vasco. The specific reason is that the plane from Placar Linhas Aéreas, a company owned by Leila Pereira and her husband José Roberto Lamacchia, is being provided free of charge for Vasco's travels.
The red-and-black club stated in a press release that it considers it important to adopt precautionary measures during the analysis of the case and that these measures should cover all parties related to the operation, including companies directly or indirectly controlled by the same economic groups.
Vasco sources mocked Flamengo's official statement and recalled that Leila Pereira also lent the plane to other clubs recently without any complaint from the rival.
The owners of Placar Linhas Aéreas are Leila Pereira and her husband, José Roberto Lamacchia, who are also the owners of Palmeiras. This situation represents a new chapter in Flamengo's offensive against the ties between the Palmeiras president and the Rio de Janeiro club.
