The Portuguese K4 500 meters men's team won the bronze medal at the World Canoeing Championship, held in Poznan, Poland. The Portuguese boat completed the race in third place, securing a spot on the podium at the world competition.
The four athletes responsible for this achievement were Gustavo Gonçalves, João Ribeiro, Messias Baptista and Pedro Casinha. These four members formed the kayak quartet that represented Portugal in this 500-meter event.
This bronze medal represents a significant result for Portuguese canoeing in this edition of the World Championships. The competition in Poznan brought together the best athletes in the sport from around the world, where Portugal managed to establish itself among the leading powers in international canoeing.
