Flamengo sells Gonzalo Plata to Dynamo Moscow

Flamengo completed the sale of Ecuadorian winger Gonzalo Plata to Dynamo Moscow, a club in Russia. The player thus leaves Brazilian football to transfer to Russian football.

Plata, who is from Ecuador, previously played for Sporting in Portugal before arriving at Flamengo. At the Brazilian club, the winger played as a professional player.

The deal represents another departure of a South American player from Brazilian football to abroad, this time heading to the Russian league. Dynamo Moscow is the Ecuadorian's new club.
