Pé-de-Meia: those born in September and October receive R$ 200 installment

extra28 August 2026 at 16:35

The 2026 Pé-de-Meia program beneficiaries born in September and October receive on Friday (28) another installment of the school attendance incentive. For regular high school students, this is the fifth installment of the program.

High school students in youth and adult education (EJA) who are also program beneficiaries will have deposited the installment referring to the approval of training cycles and completion of this final stage of basic education.

In both situations, it is necessary to achieve at least 80% attendance to receive payment. The amounts and number of installments differ between modalities: in EJA high school, the student receives up to four installments of R$ 225 each, totaling up to eight attendance installments per year; in regular high school, students receive up to nine annual installments of R$ 200 each.

Pé-de-Meia works as a savings account to encourage students to complete their studies. The program was launched by the federal government to support young people in situations of social vulnerability in completing basic education.
