Tiago Pinto, former general director of Benfica, is currently working at Bournemouth, an English Premier League club. This change represents a new phase in the career of the Portuguese executive, who was an important figure at the Eagles club for several years.

In recent statements, Tiago Pinto referred to the possibility of having gone to work at Benfica, admitting that, if that had been the situation, his family would have been against him. This statement suggests that Pinto's professional career abroad may have generated some family tensions.

The former Benfica executive transitioned to English football, joining the structure of Bournemouth. This move to the Premier League represents a different challenge from Portuguese football, where Pinto gained experience in sports management at one of the country's biggest clubs.

The interview reveals some personal aspects of Tiago Pinto's life, namely how his professional career affects family dynamics. The fact that he chose to work at a club outside Portugal, and not at Benfica, appears to have been a decision that avoided potential conflicts with his closest family members.
