The Judicial Police has extended the investigation into jewelry store robberies on the South Bank, now seeking to establish possible links between these crimes. The authorities are analyzing two specific jewelry store robberies in that region.
The investigators are trying to connect these incidents to other similar thefts, including a robbery in Lisbon where 48 thousand euros in gold was stolen. This connection may indicate the involvement of an organized criminal network.
The investigation thus covers multiple geographic areas, combining cases on the South Bank of the Tagus with incidents in the Portuguese capital. The authorities believe the same perpetrators may be involved in several of these robberies.
