"CHEGA does not accept a Madeira governed for friends, for interests, and for cronyism"

The CHEGA party expressed its position against what it considers to be a regional governance of Madeira directed towards the interests of friends, favoritism, and cronyism. This position was expressed by member of parliament Francisco Gomes, who defends a rupture with this governance model.

Francisco Gomes, representing CHEGA, argued that the regional governance of Madeira has been oriented towards vested interests and practices of favoritism. The party demands a change in political priorities in the region.

CHEGA defends that the people of Madeira and the concrete problems of families must take first place in political priorities. The party intends that the real needs of the population be placed above particular interests.
