The Republican National Guard issued an alert about the growing sophistication of car accident simulation schemes, representing an increasingly serious problem in the insurance sector.
Losses caused by these false accidents have been increasing, with a specific case recorded where damages reached 15,450 euros, demonstrating the scale of the amounts involved in this type of fraud.
GNR states that the scale of losses reveals a significant worsening in 2026, indicating that this fraudulent trend is intensifying and becoming more complex.
Authorities warn of the need for vigilance against these schemes, which involve simulations of traffic accidents with the aim of deceiving insurance companies and obtaining undue compensation.
