472 dead due to flood on Nepal-Tibet border

At least 472 people died due to floods on the border between Nepal and Tibet. The natural disaster caused a high number of fatalities in the region.

Chinese authorities reported three deaths in their territory, in Tibet, raising the provisional total number of dead to at least 472.

Over 1,400 people are missing following the disaster. Search and rescue operations are ongoing in the affected areas.
