The PP, convinced that the Ceuta crisis is "terminal" for Sánchez

The Popular Party (PP) is convinced that the Ceuta crisis represents a "terminal" situation for the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez. A senior member of the PP leadership explained graphically, making a gesture with his fingers, that "Sánchez has lost the pulse, this is a terminal crisis."

The populares' conviction intensified after the first round of ministerial appearances in the Congress of Deputies, which included this week Margarita Robles (Defense), Félix Bolaños (Presidency and Justice), Ángel Víctor Torres (Territorial Policy) and Mónica García (Health).

The appearances continue this Friday with Fernando Grande-Marlaska (Interior), José Manuel Albares (Foreign Affairs) and Elma Saiz (Social Security, Inclusion and Migrations), which suggests that the executive is trying to manage the crisis triggered by the situation in Ceuta.

The PP, as the main opposition party, considers that the Ceuta crisis has seriously wounded the president of the Government, and this perception became absolute after the first day of parliamentary sessions dedicated to the issue.
