Lightning McQueen will reappear in Formula 1

Lightning McQueen will trade the Piston Cup for Formula 1. The protagonist of Cars will arrive at the pinnacle of motorsport at the Italian Grand Prix, which will be held from September 4 to 6 at Monza.

The appearance of the Disney character seeks to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the movie Cars, which hit theaters in 2006.

Additionally, Lightning McQueen's presence is part of the expansion of the collaboration between Formula 1 and Disney, an agreement that will extend until the 2028 season.
