"It is unacceptable": Paulo Rangel condemns Russian attack near Portugal's Embassy in Kiev

SIC Notícias28 August 2026 at 00:30

Paulo Rangel, the Portuguese minister, strongly condemned the Russian attack carried out near Portugal's Embassy in Kiev, classifying it as "unacceptable". The attack occurred near the Portuguese diplomatic representation in the Ukrainian capital.

Although it did not cause injuries, the attack had, according to the minister, a very significant impact, both on the embassy building and on the people who were at the site at the time of the incident.

Paulo Rangel's condemnation comes in the context of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where several diplomatic representations have been affected by the violence of Russian attacks.
