The current director of the Judicial Police is accused of having lied in court in the hacker Rui Pinto case. The PJ recorded a conversation between Rui Pinto's lawyer and representatives of the Doyen investment fund at a service area on the A5 in 2015, but has always maintained in court that there had been no such wiretap. Documents to which TVI had access contradict this version of events.
