Haddad and Tarcísio take their stance in the interior of São Paulo and promise to improve access via roads and trains

Rivals in São Paulo elections, Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) and former mayor Fernando Haddad (Workers' Party) made investment promises in infrastructure in the interior of the state on Thursday (27). Tarcísio visited Holambra during Expoflora and highlighted the progress of the Intercity Train (TIC) between São Paulo and Campinas, with construction expected to begin in 2027 and completion in 2031, while Haddad presented a plan for family agriculture in Presidente Prudente, in Pontal do Paranapanema.
