PGR receives complaint against PJ director for alleged false statements

The Attorney General's Office confirmed having received a complaint against the director of the Judicial Police, Carlos Cabreiro, for suspected abuse of power and making false statements in court. The case refers to alleged recordings made without judicial authorization in 2015, within the scope of the Football Leaks case. According to the complaint filed, Cabreiro allegedly denied in court the carrying out of wiretaps on the ground, although these were decisive for the investigation. The case has been referred to the DIAP in Lisbon.

Montenegro will go next week to the inauguration of the President of São Tomé
