Caixa reaches for the first time the mark of R$ 1 trillion in housing credit

Caixa Econômica Federal reached for the first time the mark of R$ 1 trillion in housing credit balance in the second quarter of 2026, representing growth of 15% in 12 months and 4% compared to the previous quarter. Real estate credit corresponds to 69.4% of the bank's total credit portfolio, which closed the period at R$ 1.448 trillion, with expansion of 11.9% per year. The institution holds 67.7% of the country's real estate credit market. The FGTS financed 61.5% of housing operations, totaling R$ 618 billion, while own resources such as savings and real estate credit letters completed the rest, with emphasis on the 21.8% growth in LCIs.

Fosun more than doubles profit to 217 million in the first half

Fosun, the shareholder of Fidelidade and BCP, more than doubled its profit in the first half of 2024, totaling 217 million euros (1.7 billion yuan), an increase of 160.3% compared to the same period last year.
