Joshua Smith was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison for attempting, in July last year, to throw a package containing a mobile phone and drugs worth more than 13,000 euros into a prison in England. The moment was captured on video, showing the man trying to make the throw several times.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
