The devastating floods that hit Nepal and Tibet caused at least 362 dead, with more than 1,300 people missing, including hundreds of foreign tourists. Rescue teams continued on Thursday their efforts to find survivors, one day after the catastrophe.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
The family of Odair Moniz has appealed the sentence handed down to PSP officer Bruno Pinto, who was sentenced to three years and six months of suspended sentence for the homicide of Odair Moniz.
