Atletico de Madrid rejects Barcelona's offer for Julian Alvarez and reports rival to FIFA; find out more

Atletico Madrid unanimously rejected, through a statement, any negotiation with Barcelona for the transfer of Argentine striker Julian Alvarez. The colchonero club stated that there were and will be no conversations about the sale of the player, one day after Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed he maintained a "very important" proposal for the athlete. Spanish press speculates that the offer could reach 100 million euros (about R$600 million). Apart from refusing the transfer, Atletico reported the rival to FIFA for alleged improper approach to the player.
