Glória Elevator Accident: Insurer has already assumed costs of 2.3 million including 4 compensations

Insurance company Fidelidade has to date assumed total costs of 2.3 million euros related to the Gloria elevator accident in Lisbon, which included the payment of four compensations to the victims. The accident, which involved the fall of the historic elevator, resulted in injuries and deaths, leading to compensation claims against the insurance company responsible for maintaining the equipment.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
