EasyJet flight from Cape Verde to Porto cancellation leaves 130 passengers stranded in Boa Vista

EasyJet cancelled a flight from Cape Verde to Porto, leaving about 130 passengers stranded on the island of Boa Vista. The travelers are staying at a local hotel without an official date having been set for their return to Portugal. The situation is particularly worrying, as some passengers do not have their regular medication with them, including essential medicines for the treatment of diabetes and hypertension.
A nine-year-old child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. As soon as the mother realized the accident, she called emergency number 112. The girl was treated at the scene by an INEM medical team and later transported with serious injuries to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha.
