More than 500 foreigners remain missing after floods in Nepal

More than 500 foreigners remain missing after floods that devastated Nepal, causing at least 160 deaths and destroying part of the northern border with Chinese Tibet. Among those unaccounted for are citizens from various countries, including 178 from India, 65 from the United States, 53 from Ukraine, 51 from Malaysia, 35 from Australia, 33 from the United Kingdom and 25 from Canada, as well as people from Singapore, Germany and Russia. Local authorities are working to verify the whereabouts and safety of the missing, while accounts from victims describe the moment they were swept away by the water.
