Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, known as the "Queen of Polka Dots," died at the age of 97 in Tokyo. The artist, one of the most influential of the 20th century, continued painting until her final days, exploring themes such as eternal love and the immortal soul. Kusama became famous for her works filled with colorful polka dots and her immersive installations that marked the world of contemporary art.
