Tati Quebra Barraco is taken to court after show cancellations

oglobo27 August 2026 at 08:05

Singer Tati Quebra Barraco is being sued by the company Showzaço Produções Artísticas after the cancellation of two shows she was scheduled to perform in Canada, in Montreal and Toronto, on May 16 and 17. According to the lawsuit, the contract specified a fee of R$30,000, a portion of which the company claims to have paid half in advance, in addition to covering expenses for tickets, logistics, and other preparations. The cancellation occurred after the production informed that a DJ from the team had his Canadian visa canceled. Showzaço claims it received guarantees, before signing, that documentary issues could be resolved by substituting members, but after payment, the production began demanding the presence of the three originally listed members. The company tried alternatives, such as replacing the DJ or postponing the shows, without success.
