Novo Banco is putting up for sale a set of properties, companies and credits associated with Luís Filipe Vieira, former president of Benfica, in an effort to recover part of a debt estimated at 400 million euros. Fosun more than doubles profit to 217 million in the first half

Fosun, the shareholder of Fidelidade and BCP, more than doubled its profit in the first half of 2024, totaling 217 million euros (1.7 billion yuan), an increase of 160.3% compared to the same period last year. Revenue remained stable at around 11,094 million euros, while investment in innovation and technology grew 16.7% to 4.2 billion yuan.
