Portuguese-Brazilian filmmaker Ana Rocha de Sousa presents the film "Asas" (Wings), shot between Ukraine and Portugal, with its world premiere on September 1 at the Odessa Festival. The filmmaker revealed that the experience of filming in a country at war brought her fears she had never known before, confessing that "she thought this violence no longer existed." The feature film addresses the reality of the conflict in Ukraine and marks Ana Rocha de Sousa's return to directing after the success of her previous work.
