Bad weather is hindering search operations for 265 missing people after flash floods in the Tibet region of China. Heavy rain, unstable slopes and damaged access routes are complicating rescue efforts. Authorities warn that a natural blockage formed by mud and rocks has created a buildup of water that increases the risk of secondary disasters and hampers drainage operations. The searches are being carried out in the area of Shigatse municipality.
