Hong Kong allows Evergrande victims to sue PwC

Hong Kong allowed those harmed by real estate developer China Evergrande to sue auditing firm PwC. Evergrande, which was once one of China's largest real estate developers, defaulted in 2021, leaving thousands of investors and creditors affected. The court ruling now opens the way for those harmed to seek accountability from the accounting giant for alleged failures in its financial reports.
